As it were, retail was already taking a huge hit from the booming e-commerce industry. 2019 saw many brands waving white flags, applying for bankruptcy protection, with some eventually folding for good.

Although those headlines have now been replaced with news about the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, the global pandemic has done the retail sector no favours. In fact, with stay-home notices and work-from-home arrangements, shopping malls are suffering even more.
To encourage shoppers to continue visiting malls, many shopping malls have announced free parking promotions, valid until further notice (probably once the COVID-19 situation eases).
Shopping Malls With Free Parking Until Further Notice (updated 31 Mar 2020)
Here is a list of shopping malls from Capitaland, AsiaMalls, Far East Malls, etc that offer free parking for now. I’ve also organised those in the Orchard and Central Business District (CBD) into a nifty list, since those areas are usually the most expensive.

As mentioned, parking downtown is notoriously expensive. For this period, however, many “atas” malls there are offering free parking for selected hours daily.

Now, most of these free parking promotions don’t require any minimum spend requirement.
However, if you’re already planning to YOLO and go shopping at Orchard Road, you’re probably going to end up dining out and/or spending money on shopping.
