Thankfully, Cake Spade has nothing to do with the now-deceased fashion designer who inspired its name. The bakery began as a home business and now has an outlet on Tanjong Pagar Road.
While many people prefer to just dine-in at the cafe or order and collect cakes directly from the store, they also offer customised cakes which look quite impressive.
To order a customised cake, just drop them an email attaching photos of cakes you’re inspired by. They’re proficient at whipping up fondant cakes, which are very popular now thanks to how well they retain the cutesy shapes of animals, dinosaurs, unicorns and so on.
They also have smaller pastries like brownies and cupcakes if you’re putting together a dessert table for your party.

Cake Avenue is a neighbourhood bakery in the Beauty World area that all the parents in the vicinity have checked out.
