Best Singapore Credit Cards For Agoda Promotions (2025)

Best credit cards Singapore AGoda

For anyone who’s a travel junkie, we’re probably all familiar with the biggest online travel agent (OTA) platforms in Singapore. These make the whole “planning” part of a trip so much more bearable, mainly because you can just go to one place to sort out both your flights and your accommodation.

Anything that saves us time when trip planning no doubt gets a big heart emoji from us. One of the largest OTA platforms in Singapore is none other than Agoda. The platform is great because it really helps you plan ahead of time while also nabbing great deals.

One of the best parts about Agoda is the frequent promotions that the service runs, particularly for credit card users. So, if you need to pay online for your travel spend, you may as well earn miles/cashback on your credit card spend plus take advantage of any extra goodies that Agoda is offering.

In this article, we’ll explore some of the best year-round promotions available with select credit cards on Agoda, helping you plan your trips more efficiently and maximise your rewards while booking your overseas getaways.

Key features to look for in a travel credit card

Which credit card you use when you’re paying for your travel costs is always a dilemma. Do you value the cashback in your pocket or do you place a higher premium on earning air miles?

Or do you actually want a discount on your booking? Perhaps a special combo in terms of hotel + flight deals?

Whatever it is that you do value, Agoda normally has a promotion running with some of Singapore’s largest card issuers. That means you’ll never miss out on a good deal with Agoda using a credit card in Singapore.

Personally, I value air miles as that could help offset the future costs of any trips and then you could use Agoda primarily for booking your accommodation needs. However, you can also get your money to work harder for you by getting a discount off your Agoda booking and still earn miles, given the ongoing promotions.

1. OCBC 90°N Card

The OCBC 90°N card (available in Visa and Mastercard flavors) makes a strong case for being your go-to travel companion, especially if you’re an Agoda regular.

Normally, the OCBC 90°N card earns 1.3 miles per S$1 on local spend and 2.1 miles per S$1 on foreign currency (FCY) transactions. Not bad, right? But with the Agoda Yearlong Promotion, those numbers get supercharged.

When you book your stays through this link, you’ll rack up:

  • A bonus 4.7 miles per S$1 on local spend, for a grand total of 6 miles per S$1.
  • A bonus 4.9 miles per S$1 on FCY spend, taking you to 7 miles per S$1.

That’s right—this card gives your travel budget a workout while keeping your miles balance in great shape.

Important Dates to Note:

  • Booking Period: Now until 30 Nov 2025
  • Stay Period: Now until 31 Dec 2025

A heads-up: this promotion only applies to hotel and accommodation bookings. The cool part? The total amount you’re charged (yes, including pesky local taxes and service fees) is what earns you miles.

2. HSBC Credit Cards

If you’re an HSBC credit cardholder in Singapore, here’s a way to save on your next getaway. By booking your Agoda hotel or accommodation through this link and paying with your HSBC credit card, you can enjoy a 15% discount on your room charges.

Booking period Staying period Discount Discount cap
1 April 2025 – 31 July 2025 1 April 2025 – 30 June 2026 15% S$40
8 January 2025 – 31 December 2025 8 January 2025 – 30 June 2026 7% Unlimited

As you can see, the 15% discount only applies for a specific booking period. Anything outside of this range will only get a 7% discount. The plus side is that if you’re only getting a 7% discount, you don’t have a cap on your total discount amount.

A few things to keep in mind: the discount applies only to room charges, so it won’t cover local taxes, service fees, or other extras. To qualify, make sure the hotel you choose displays the “Promo Eligible” label, and enter your HSBC credit card details at checkout.

4. UOB PRVI Miles Card

The UOB PRVI Miles card, available in Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, is widely recognised as one of Singapore’s top cards for miles-earning on general spending. It also offers a compelling perk for travelers booking hotels on Agoda.

FYI—you earn UNI$ as opposed to miles directly with this promotion. You’ll have to then convert the UNI$ to miles separately. This leads to a bit of math if you want to know the full breakdown. But I’ve gone ahead to do that for you. For reference, UNI$1 converts to 2 miles.

By using your UOB PRVI Miles card to book through this link, you can earn UNI$3.5 for every S$1 if you’re spending in local currency. So that translates to about 7 miles per S$1 spent.

For foreign spend, you earn about UNI$4 for every S$1 spent—translating to about 8 miles per S$1.

Important Dates:

  • Booking Period: 15 January 2025 – 31 May 2025
  • Stay Period: 15 Jan 2025 – 30 Nov 2026
