Let’s face it—Singapore’s attractions can quickly drain your wallet, especially if you’re not paying attention.
If you’re a regular at places like iFly Singapore or Kidztopia—whether it’s for a date or some weekend family fun—you’ve probably wondered: are annual passes really worth it? This is especially true if your kids are constantly begging to go somewhere fun every weekend, or if you have a new date every few weeks (no judgment here).
That’s where we come in. We’ve done the math for you. From Mandai Wildlife Reserve to Wild Wild Wet, we’ll break down how many visits it takes to break even, highlight perks you don’t want to miss, and help you figure out which passes are worth every penny—and which ones might not be.

Is the Mandai Wildlife Reserve annual pass worth it?
If you’re an animal lover and yearn to escape the concrete jungle to visit a real jungle (well, more like a man-made version, but you get the idea), you may be tempted to purchase the Friends of Wildlife annual pass from Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
Given that the reserve consists of 4 different parks, each costing around S$50 on average, visiting all 4 parks would set you back just shy of the cost of an annual pass. It’s definitely great value if you plan to visit all of them within a year, especially considering the diversity of each park. You’ll also enjoy 20% off retail and F&B purchases, which is a nice bonus if you decide to spend the entire day at the park (since the food options inside are on the pricier side).
What’s more, a new park, Mandai Rainforest Wild, is set to open in March this year. While it remains to be seen whether this will affect the pricing of the annual pass, if you’ve already decided to go for one, this just adds more value.

Is the Wild Wild Wet annual pass worth it?
Queuing at theme parks in Singapore can be a chore, especially when you’re standing for hours in the scorching heat. Waterparks offer a refreshing alternative—at least you can cool off as soon as you’re on the ride. In that sense, Wild Wild Wet never disappoints.
The only caveat is that this waterpark is located all the way in the East (Pasir Ris, to be exact). Unless you live nearby, I can’t imagine making the trek to the end of the MRT line every time the urge to go on a water slide strikes.
The park is also relatively small, meaning you can probably enjoy all the rides in an afternoon without needing to return. Plus, at S$20 for a one-time pass, taking this over the annual pass is a pretty good choice if you only plan to visit once or twice.

Is the SuperPark Singapore seasonal pass worth it?
Are your kids refusing to give you a moment of peace at home? If you’re looking for a way to help them burn off some energy so they’ll crash as soon as they get home, consider taking them to SuperPark Singapore. With over 20 activities, including obstacle courses, climbing walls, trampolines, and a mini motor track, there’s no shortage of excitement for the little ones.
Since it’s almost impossible to complete all the activities in a single day, this park is worth multiple visits, making the price of the 3-month pass very attractive. And let’s be honest—the peace and quiet you’ll get from the kids is priceless.

Is the Museum of Ice Cream annual pass worth it?
Nothing screams fun like the Museum of Ice Cream (get it?). Okay, maybe not. But you’re also not stuck at a desk writing a listicle, where watching paint dry feels like more fun. Let me have my fun by trying to rhyme ‘scream’ with ‘cream.’
Honestly, a themed museum like this doesn’t really warrant multiple visits. Once you’ve taken all your photos for the ‘gram, you’re pretty much set. Unlike real museums, there isn’t a revolving door of exhibits as well. Plus, the single entry is reasonably priced, so unless you’re craving unlimited ice cream (and dialysis), an annual pass probably isn’t worth it.

5. Gardens by the Bay
Adult | Child | Senior | |
Annual Pass Price | S$49 | S$35 | S$44 |
Single Entry Price (cheapest attraction) | S$10 | S$6 | S$6 |
Break Even Point | 5 visits | 6 visits | 8 visits |
Is the Gardens by the Bay annual pass worth it?
With the rate at which trees are being cleared for development in Singapore, Gardens by the Bay may be one of the last places where tree-huggers can gather. So, if someone ever tells you to ‘touch grass,’ take it as a sign to visit this beautiful oasis, with iconic places like the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, and Supertree Grove.
The wide range of attractions makes the annual pass a no-brainer, especially with the seasonal displays. These include ‘Spring Blossoms,’ a Lunar New Year-inspired festival, and ‘Impressions of Monet,’ which recreates the era of French Impressionism.
A quick glance at their calendar reveals a stellar lineup of future events, ensuring there’s always something new to look forward to. You could easily visit 5 times or more and be amazed each time. That makes it a great deal in my book.

Annual Pass Price | S$218 |
Single Entry Price (average) | ~S$40 |

Is the ArtScience Museum annual pass worth it?
If you’re looking for a place that blends art with futuristic technology, look no further than the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands. Not only does it feature a variety of interactive exhibits that will spark your imagination, but it also hosts pop culture exhibitions, like the latest one from the World of Studio Ghibli.

Whether the annual pass is worth it depends largely on your interests. Some exhibits can be quite pricey (~S$70), making the annual pass a more attractive option. However, if you’re someone who only visits specific themed exhibits, a one-time pass might be a better choice.

Is the iFly Singapore annual pass worth it?
Want to experience the thrill of skydiving without the hassle of booking a flight overseas, buying an expensive package, and jumping out of a plane with the slight chance something could go wrong? iFly Singapore has got you covered.
Although their annual pass is limited to just 10 dives, it’s still a great deal. Where else in Singapore can you feel the rush of free-falling? For such a one-of-a-kind experience, 1 dive might not be enough—especially for adrenaline junkies who crave that thrill.

8. Kidztopia
Is the Kidztopia annual pass worth it?
The mother of all indoor playgrounds, Kidztopia, is here to take over your parenting duties—at least for an hour or 2. There’s just something about ball pits that drives little kids wild—kind of like a toddler’s version of clubbing, but with no alcohol and more screaming.
As for the value of the annual pass, it really depends on the location. Based on the table above, only the outlets at Orchard Cineleisure and SAFRA CCK require the fewest visits to make it worthwhile. Otherwise, if you plan to bring your kids to Kidztopia a whopping 28 times (like at the River Valley outlet), it might be better to invest in a daycare instead.

Still on the fence? Ask yourself these questions
Ultimately, whether a pass is worth it comes down to personal preferences. While I can’t see myself trekking all the way to the East for Wild Wild Wet more than once, others may not mind the hassle at all.
So, here are some guiding questions to help you decide if a pass is worth it:
- How often do you plan to visit the attraction?
- How unique is the experience?
- Are there frequent new exhibits or events?
- Do you enjoy member-exclusive perks?
- How does it compare to other attractions?
