Long-time Shell customers might already know that the existing Shell Escape programme has been replaced with a new loyalty and rewards programme.
The good news is that Shell GO+ has more perks, rewards, and welcome offers to boot. It also harnesses technology to make it easier than ever to earn points for every spend with Shell.
In a nutshell, Shell GO+ is a new digital loyalty programme for motorists that aims to make your motoring journey even more rewarding than before, with juicy sign-up offers such as additional fuel discounts and freebies, the chance to obtain fuel coupons, and the opportunity to earn on ALL your spending at Shell, including non-driving related purchases. That means that everyone can benefit, whether or not you actually drive!
Here’s the lowdown on the revamped Shell GO+ loyalty and rewards programme, including details about all the additional benefits drivers can now enjoy.
Shell GO+ new user perks
New users can benefit from the following welcome perks, just in time for Chinese New Year:
- Complimentary 1 kg of SongHe Thai Fragrant rice with minimum S$20 spent on Shell Fuel, while stocks last
- Additional 10% off Shell fuels with minimum S$20 spent, bringing the total petrol savings to up to 30.65% with selected bank credit cards
- Additional 10% off Deli by Shell and Shell Car Care items with minimum S$10 spent
- Free 100 welcome points
Existing Shell GO+ user perks
Already a Shell GO+ member? The benefits don’t stop there! Existing Shell GO+ users enjoy the following perks whenever they spend at Shell:
- All spending — Earn points and redeem rewards from all spending, including on petrol, in-store purchases, car wash and car servicing. This is the only motorist loyalty programme that lets you do that, making it ideal even for those who don’t drive.
- Petrol — Earn 1.2 points for every litre of Shell V-Power and 1 point for every litre on other Shell Fuels.
- Petrol (coupons) — Pump 35L of petrol or 15L in 2 weeks and get a $3 off $70 petrol coupon, or a $1 off $10 petrol coupon, depending on whether you drive a car or ride a motorbike.
- Shell Select — Earn 1 point with every $5 spent in Shell Select stores, excluding selected service items.
- Shell Autoserv — Earn points when you purchase Shell Helix Ultra service packages.
- Shell Car Wash — Earn 1 point with every $1 spent.
So, how can you rack up more points? You can’t make your car guzzle more petrol (technically you can, but please don’t, it’s not good for Mother Earth and your wallet), but you CAN do more of your in-store shopping at Shell Select.
Picking up household groceries at Shell Select on your way home is easy and convenient as you don’t have to worry about paying for parking, navigating cavernous parking lots (who else detests the winding multi-storey carparks or those with few/narrow lots?) in shopping malls or returning shopping trolleys.
Just rock up to your nearest Shell Select, buy groceries, pop them in the car boot and drive home! Easy peasy!
Convenience in an app
The Shell GO+ loyalty rewards programme is all digital. Simply download the Shell Asia app and you’ll be able to access your account, check past transactions, redeem points, enjoy personalised rewards and receive instant notifications.
Existing Shell Escape members, do note that your points cannot be transferred to Shell GO+. Here’s what to do instead:
- Continue to earn points on your Shell Escape card till 28 Feb 2023
- Redeem all your points Shell Escape points by 30 April 2023
- From 1 May 2023: Only Shell GO+ will be accepted island-wide
