Where to Park Near City Hall 2025: Marina Square, Raffles City & Suntec City Prices Compared

Where to Park Near City Hall 2025: Marina Square, Raffles City & Suntec City Prices Compared

Not every mall in Singapore is a weekend playground. Some are better known as after-work decompression zones for the CBD crowd. Marina Square, Raffles City, and Suntec City fall firmly into that camp. Come 6 pm on a weekday, they’re filled with office workers in tailored G2000s grabbing Din Tai Fung or winding down with an Asahi before the train ride home.

That quick detour for dumplings or drinks? It hits different when you’ve got parking rates looming in the background. To make the most of your evenings without overspending on parking, we’ve compiled the latest 2025 rates at these three City Hall staples—plus a few nearby carparks with friendlier rates.

  • Delivery Vehicles: $1.12 per 30 min (all hours)
  • Season Parking: $294.30/month (discounted bundle: $250.70/month for 3-month plan)

Marina Square’s rates have crept up slightly since 2018, but it’s still one of the better-value options near City Hall—especially if you’re popping in on a weekday night. The $2.25 per-entry evening rate (Mon–Thu, 5–11  pm) gives you a buffer to grab dinner or run errands without worrying about the meter running.

However, weekend rates are now strictly charged by the hour, so there’s no more per-entry cap. If you’re planning a longer outing, those $1.43 half-hour blocks (after the first 4 hours) can stack up fast. Also, we don’t advise leaving your car overnight: parking after 2  am is charged at $1.12 per 30 minutes, making late collection an expensive habit.

Pro tip: Use the Marina Square app to scan your receipts—for every $1 spent (min. $20), you’ll earn “SQUARES” that can be redeemed at 1 SQUARES = $2 off parking. Not quite free, but enough to cover that first hour if you’re smart about it.

  • Grace Period: 10 minutes
  • EV Charging: 28 Shell Recharge EV points available across B1/B2 (Red, Green, Orange Zones)
  • Suntec+ Rewards: Redeem Suntec+ points for Carpark Dollars via app
  • Note: Entrances at B2 A/D/G are season-parking only before 5 pm daily

Suntec City’s massive basement carpark makes it a go-to for weekday errands and post-work hangouts. The $3.00 per-entry rate from 5 pm–4 am (Mon–Fri) keeps things predictable and affordable, especially if you’re in no rush to leave.

Although there’ll be no per-entry cap on weekends. The meter runs at $1.30 per 30 mins no matter what time you arrive. A fancy dinner or movie date can quickly turn into a $10+ parking bill if you’re not careful.

Still, there are perks: Suntec+ members can convert points into Carpark Dollars to shave a few bucks off their total, and the EV crowd is well taken care of with 28 Shell Recharge points across multiple zones. Bonus if you’re planning a stay at the Convention Centre or catching a show—you’ll probably find a spot (just remember which tower you parked in).

  • Grace Period: 10 minutes
  • Raffles Prestige (CapitaStar): 2 hours free daily for invited members (via CapitaStar app)

Raffles City’s central location comes with a cost. Sitting right above the MRT and surrounded by shops and restaurants, it’s easy to drop by for a quick weekend dinner—only to end up with a $10 parking bill before dessert even hits the table.

Weekday evenings are more forgiving thanks to a $3.25 flat rate from 6 pm that covers you till morning. Though it’s a different story come weekend: the meter runs nonstop overnight, and there’s no cap to cushion the cost.

Want a better deal? Don’t just circle the same malls. There are cheaper lots all around City Hall—some with all-day per-entry rates, and others just a short walk away. Of course, it all comes down to how long you’re staying—and whether you mind a bit of a walk.

Final words

Turns out, not all carparks in the city are out to drain your wallet. Whether you’re clocking out early or planning a slow dinner crawl, a little detour to Millenia Walk or Capitol Piazza can shave a few dollars. That's better spent on a cup of Chi Cha, or a second pint of beer.

If you’re popping by over the weekend, Millenia Walk remains the stealth MVP with its budget-friendly per-entry rates. Just remember: the real flex in the CBD isn’t valet, it’s knowing where to park smart.
